The Problem
Pinnacle Advisory had always relied on word-of-mouth and a solid reputation to drive business. But as the financial advisory market grew more competitive, they noticed something: they were losing out to competitors who had strong online presences. Their target audience—busy professionals—were turning to the internet for advice and services. Without a website, Pinnacle Advisory couldn’t reach those who needed quick, reliable financial guidance.
But first—
Before starting the project, I wanted to understand their needs and goals in depth. I asked:
How do you want people to perceive your brand online?
What are your big goals for Belle Beauty when it comes to engaging with customers and boosting sales?
Which products or services do you want to highlight the most on your website?
How do you currently interact with your community, and What problems are you having with reaching customers right now?
These questions helped clarify Belle Beauty’s vision and guided the project’s direction.

I began finding inspiration and creating mood boards for the visual identity and overall look of the website. Here’s what I settled for:
The color palette of dark blue, light blue, and gold (#d6b26c) was chosen to enhance Pinnacle Advisory’s brand. Dark blue conveys stability and trust, which are important in finance. Light blue adds a calming and welcoming feel, making the brand more approachable. Gold introduces a touch of luxury and expertise, suggesting reliability and high quality. This combination of colors supports Pinnacle’s goal of being seen as a trustworthy and modern financial advisor.
The choice of Oswald Medium and Avenir Light fonts perfectly fits Pinnacle Advisory’s modern and professional image. Oswald Medium’s bold and contemporary look helps establish the firm’s authority and confidence, essential for a financial consulting business. On the other hand, Avenir Light’s clean and elegant style balances this by making the text easy to read and giving the brand a sophisticated touch.
Recap Of My Role
I led the charge in designing and developing Pinnacle Advisory’s website. My role covered everything from research and planning to brand identity development, website creation on WIX, and implementing the launch strategy. We set a timeline of 16 days, and here’s how the process broke down:
