BelleBeauty

A website project for a Brand that aims to boost confidence and promote self-expression through accessible beauty solutions.

Project Brief:

BelleBeauty

Overview:

Belle Beauty’s mission is to boost women’s confidence through quality cosmetics and a supportive community.

They wanted to empower women to express themselves, but they were missing an essential element: a website.

Without it, they struggled to reach customers beyond their physical stores and lacked valuable insights into customer behavior, which are crucial for making informed marketing decisions.

This case study explains my process, detailing what I did and how it all came together.

But first—

Before starting the project, I wanted to understand their needs and goals in depth. I asked:

How do you want people to perceive your brand online?

What are your big goals for Belle Beauty when it comes to engaging with customers and boosting sales?

Which products or services do you want to highlight the most on your website?

How do you currently interact with your community, and What problems are you having with reaching customers right now?

These questions helped clarify Belle Beauty’s vision and guided the project’s direction.

Here’s what I recommended

Target Audience

Belle Beauty’s target audience primarily consists of women aged 20 to 40 who value self-care, empowerment, and being part of a supportive community. These women seek beauty solutions that align with their desire for authenticity and self-expression. They’re drawn to brands that provide more than just products—they want to feel connected to a community that shares their values and supports their journey to confidence and self-love.

What`s Next?

I began finding inspiration and creating mood boards for the visual identity and overall look of the website. Here’s what I settled for:

The bold orange is the kind of color that grabs attention, perfect for a brand focused on standing out. I paired it with deep charcoal to bring in that urban, streetwise vibe. The gray keeps everything balanced without taking away from the boldness. And, of course, crisp white keeps things fresh and clean, letting the other colors shine without overwhelming the design.

For NovaStyle, the typography is all about impact and readability. League Spartan is used for headings because it’s bold and geometric, making sure that every title and heading grabs attention right away. For the body text, Proxima Nova is the perfect choice—it’s clean, modern, and super easy to read.

Recap Of My Role

I took the lead in designing and developing Belle Beauty’s website. My approach was structured as follows:

Day 1-2:

Research and planning—getting a deep understanding of the audience and their needs.

Day 3-5:

I crafted a brand identity that would resonate with the target market, ensuring that it reflected Belle Beauty’s mission and values.

Day 6-8:

I then designed and developed a user-friendly website on WIX that balanced aesthetic appeal with functionality.

Day 10:

Finally, I implemented a launch strategy to ensure the website made a strong first impression and reached the right audience.

The Result

In summary, the new website significantly boosted Belle Beauty’s brand awareness, sales, and customer engagement. It helped them secure a stronger position in the competitive beauty industry by providing a platform that not only sells products but also fosters a community aligned with their mission of enhancing natural beauty and empowering individuals.
